London College of Fashion: Graduate Show

The London College of Fashion commissioned Moving Brands to conceive, design and build the Graduate Portfolio Exhibition. The problem: How to show up to 500 students work. The solution: Use a digital approach and house it within a ‘library’ setting. Each student is represented by a post-card sized tag which is located on a wall, on the back of each card is a unique pair of identifier tags, so when the card is placed on one of the four tables the student’s work is revealed. This system was developed using opensource software reacTIVision & Processing – it is the first time that either has been used in this way and on this scale.
