how to repair scratches on poker table fabric?

My dog has taken to jumping up on my room mate’s huge poker table. She’s scratched the fabric (some sort of sueded fabric) pretty badly in places, not scratched through but there are marks on the top of the fabric. Apart from just rubbing them with our fingers, what can I do to fix it?
The very nature of felt does not allow any recovery and all scratches become permanent. You can only avoid scratching the table, best of luck to you.
