Apparently it is the way to play- bully people out of pots by re-raising on moderate draws and anything better than that. Scares people into folding who have put a fair amount of money into the pot. To be seen as selectively aggressive i would suggest is a strong table image to posses ?
this question is as naive as saying "I hear lawyers make a lot of money, should I be a lawyer?"
there are too many factors to ever think that playing one way will win you money. have you considered how deep are the stacks? how aggro are the other players? where are you positioned compared to the aggro vs passive players?
this list goes on.
i suggest doing some reading at twoplustwo to sharpen up the way u think.

aggression wins the day

Definitely. You can win with any cards if you’re willing to risk it all. Although if your opponent has a good bit money more and you’re not that confident in your cards, I would recommend backing down at that point.

Agressive is good but it could be bad if you know you have a good hand you can be agressive but if you see that there is a chance that someone else has the higher hand you might want to fold it’s better to be safe than sorry. But you play how you want and what you think will work

I would disagree with this strategy. My strategy for playing in cash games is to try and see as many flops as possible when the bet is cheap, but otherwise play very conservatively. I pick my shots when I am sure I have the best cards on the table. This may not be better OR worse than your proposed strategy, but it is certainly a different philosophy. I also play cash games in southern NH, where the max bet is $4. Because of this, it is often very hard to push someone off of a pot, because they think "whats another $4 to see if I hit my draw on the river?"

Let them all play aggressive and wait. Then hit them. In less your dealt a good hand then bet like hell.
You can’t play aggres or passive all the time. Just mix it up.Watch out for the gambling bug. Good Luck…

The two professional (and profitable) pro gamblers I know make their money by folding at the start for all but the good hands. You can pick up some extra money with the bullying, if the psychology at the table will let you get away with it, but it’s an added risk.

What you describe sounds too aggressive, it doesn’t sound like "selective" aggression. If you bluff too often, your bluffs won’t work as often. It also depends on who you’re playing against and their playing style. For instance, over-aggression doesn’t work at a table of calling stations (or at least, it takes a lot of delicate maneuvering to make it work, and there have to be some people willing to call overbets with not-so-strong hands when you do have the goods, once your maniac image is established).
Should you be more aggressive? Depends on how aggressive you are now, you haven’t provided hand histories for us to decide. A certain amount of aggression is required to win. Beyond that, some more aggression or looseness is optional, there is some wiggle room, you can stick with what feels natural or try different styles. Just be aware, to be loose and/or over-aggressive and still be a winning player, is harder to do and requires more skill. Regardless of what table you’re at, the standard tight-aggressive style is the easiest to win with.
